It just popped up on the Archos and I was gettin my lil groove on at work. It make me crack up laughing. This little gizmo is great because it’s really just a hard drive with headphones that’s pretty small. See:

The thing is built solid as a rock and is small enough to make life happy. When it first came out, that was a huge selling point. It was special because it was 20GB wrapped in 2″ x 3″ of metallic goodness with an internal battery. I’ve never tried the jpeg viewing, but the audio/file browser system is nice and easy. The village idiot could use this thing. The only downside is that there’s no USB charging. Ah well.

As much as the Archos rocks, I want a Zune hardcore. The iPhone can ctrl+alt+del itself for all I care (when it comes to getting the Zune). I wanna trade songs and pr0n wif mah babay. Even though I’m the pr0naholic of the relationship, but you get me.

In other news, I have to exchange my backdrop holder to Adorama because it went fubar. That’s lame. It’ll take a week or two to go through the whole process. I’d rather drive to NYC and exchange in person! Roadtrip!!! Then I’ll buy the lighting kit and life will be groovy!

And high five for having more income to get better gear and hopefully be closer to publishing a photo book (more on that later since I don’t think I’ve blogged about it).

It’s a very nifty time in my life right now. Probably less of a big deal to others, but I just ordered my first bit of studio gear. A backdrop holder w/ bag and 2 rolls of backdrop paper (black and white). Next comes the REAL lighting. I already have a set picked out. When I make more money,. I’ll upgrade the lights to the Alien Bees B400 or B800… I guess the B800s would be smarter.

Next is advertising. I’m on networking sites and am redesigning www.avygrrl.com to focus primarily on photography and sales. I still think I’ll use Cafe Press for most things, but I know I can get poster-sized photos done much easier than I thought. Yay.

Not because tomorrow is Turkey Slaughter Day, but because I don’t have to get up early and go to work. Hooray for being able to sleep in late and cuddle mi amor! Then I get to  see some family for a little while. Then we see his family. Then we see our friends! It’ll be great. I’m very happy about this. I miss my homies that I’m too lazy to see. To be honest, I have just become a great big homebody and I like it. Meg and I go to the gym. There’s gyarusa fun. Photo-taking at random. Musical goodness. Love and business time.  I’m happy. Yay.

I’m off Friday, too.  If we’re lucky, we’ll be let out early today like last year. They already let today be a casual day. I’m happy about that, too.

I can’t wait to go home and curl my hair and sing some songs, play some bass, cook some yums and cuddle my bear. Yeehaw.

I realize I get cranky if I don’t get teh secks for more than 1.5 - 2 days. It’s really sad. I’m a happy camper today though. I’m pretty sure I need to get that in check though.

In other news, I LOVE The Foo Fighters. I’m listening to The Pretender right now and I MUST learn the bass line. the upright sounds pretty straight up. I need to learn it all.

I’m pretty psyched about playing with Brandon and Christine on Sunday. Beth is letting me down. She seems chill when we talk, but she’s not keeping in good contact which is looking bad. Dangit >_<  But yeah, Sunday we’re rockin steady. I have got tons of random bass lines & songs written, some recorded, and am ready to show off a little.

But before that, I get to see my gyaru! Ahhooooo! (I dunno where that came from) Saturday, we’re gonna do somethin. I dunno what, but somethin. I gotta pay my cut for the j-mags.  I dunno if Jer is coming though!

Oh and Sunday morning, I gets teh weeeeeeeeeave. Mah x-10-shunz. Let me show you dem. I can’t wait.My gyaru flow shall be strong.  Actually, it’ll be stronger once I lose 20pounds. Damn. Oddly enough I’ve been eating VERY sparingly this week. I didn’t really realize it til it was pointed out. I’m happy for that since I was bad and missed the gym. I need to walk around my job from 5 - 5:30pm everyday. That’d be smart.  It’s like .75mi around the entire thing. That’d be smart.

Anyways. I’m gettin back to work.

• Got my phone back. Yay!

• I look sooooo cute today, it’s sickening. I’m a Ranzuki gyaru.

• I burned my taste buds off two days ago and still can’t taste anything sweet.

• I’m sad cuz Steve gave me a Ring Pop and I can’t taste it!

• I’m really happy!

• I has a secret and no one knows but Joeh (and stfu btw mi amigo)

• Tonight  will be my first Sahmain ritual with another person in like 10 years

• This will also be my first ritual with Erik ever.

• I really want that Ring Pop right now.

• I came like a champion last night.

• We get “happy cake” at work today!

• I may be getting musical again. Seriously.

• Murder Party comes from Netflix today!!!
