Lovin Youuuu

I haven’t posted about the wedding yet. I’m so slow. Well here’s a little somethingThe Ceremony

This was nifty. We got there a little late. The MUA got lost and ended up in NJ on her way to my place. I know where she got turned around, so I get it, but it still sucked. We didn’t have time to do my fake lashes, but I guess I looked okay because my mom told her she did a great job.

So anyway, the ceremony was cool. One of my co-workers even came to watch. Actually, a lot of people we didn’t know watched as well. The joy of Valley Green. We had a non-denominational officiant named Linda/Rukmini. She reminds me a lot of Sue, so that’s nice. We even had her do Corinthians 13 in lolcat. It was amusing and fun and I giggled the whole time. “Wif dis ring, I can has matrimony.”
The Reception

We had fun dancing and all. I had to sit down a lot, but I found time to spin. My feet were so swollen I had to wear the white flip flops instead of th shoes I picked out. No biggy. I bought it all on the cheap. On the plus side, the flip flops fit comfortably. Erik and I danced to “Rose of My Heart” by Johnny Cash as our first song. Then later we danced to “So Happy Together” by the Turtles. We has our songs. It was good. My aunt Gina came from Georgia which was great. We were all dancing and stuff. I kept having to take breaks, and my feet hurt like hell afterward, but it was my wedding day so it was worth it.

Only two things went wrong or annoyed me.

  1. Some no-shows as if weddings are cheap ($240 wasted)

  2. VG somehow screwed up the seating and we had to fix a thing or two.

All in all, it was great. People we wanted there were able to come. There’s others we couldn’t invite so that sucked, but whatever. We’re not made of money and I’m sure people know if it were less costly we’d have had more people there. It’s a given.

Honeymoon tidbits later.
