Thank you for building me a new home…

Unfortunately  I’m gonna waste it away on an unstable career goal.

‘Extreme Makeover’ house faces foreclosure - Yahoo! News

“LAKE CITY, Ga. - More than 1,800 people showed up to help ABC’s “Extreme Makeover” team demolish a family’s decrepit home and replace it with a sparkling, four-bedroom mini-mansion in 2005.
ADVERTISEMENTThree years later, the reality TV show’s most ambitious project at the time has become the latest victim of the foreclosure crisis.

After the Harper family used the two-story home as collateral for a $450,000 loan, it’s set to go to auction on the steps of the Clayton County Courthouse Aug. 5. The couple did not return phone calls Monday, but told WSB-TV they received the loan for a construction business that failed.”

Careers

These are some jobs I’m interested in. Honestly “Homemaker” is #1 right now, but these are totally me as well.

Elementary school teachers, except special education

Job Description: (Except special education) using classroom presentations or individual instruction to help students learn. They plan, evaluate, and assign lessons; prepare, administer, grade tests and report cards; and maintain classroom discipline.
Average Salary: $45,570

Hello! Me. Teaching kids how to do stuff. Especially Reading + Writing… I think I have more than enough patience and dedication to teach k-5. I prefer k - 3, but it’s all good. There’s just something a kid has before they turn 9 or 10 that’s really effin nifty to me.

Forensic science technicians

Job Description: Use evidence they’ve collected from crime scenes and other locales in order to solve investigations.
Average Salary: $45,330

It’s not forensic pathology, but it’s still something I’m VERY interested in doing. Or at least knowing how to do. It’s crazy. Oh well. That just popped into my head.

OTHER JOBS I’m INTO:

Self-enrichment education teachers

Job Description: Are often self-employed or work part time and provide instruction in a wide variety of subjects that students take for fun or self-improvement in classroom, group and one-on-one instruction.
Average Salary: $33,440

Pharmacists

Job Description: Must graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy and be licensed, distribute prescription drugs and counsel patients on selection, dosages, interactions and side effects of medications.
Average Salary: $94,520

Computer support specialists

Job Description: Includes technical support specialists and help-desk technicians, interpret problems, give advice and provide technical support for hardware, software and systems to customers and other users.

S&M Barbie is lashed by the public | The Sun |News

I’m just saying… This is the only Barbie I’d buy these days.  I have Wonder Woman, so why not Black Canary? Xtians make me sick sometimes.

Drained

People keep telling me I look drained. Great. Thank you. I hadn’t noticed I look like shite. Thank you. Seriously. From the bottom of my bleeding heart.

Erik and I did the big move over the weekend and this week. Now I’m sore, tired, depressed, stressed, but otherwise peachy. I would like to not have to move again any time soon.

I have a photoshoot planning meeting thingy with Lesleigh today after work and I’m hoping she cancels. I need rest. I just don’t wanna blow it off.

I came back to work today with lots to do, despite the things my dept helped with while I was gone. I just feel overwhelmed in general. I’m so exhausted I barely know what to do. It’s annoying. I hate feeling like this and there’s nothing making it better.

but on the plus side, my fetus is doing well. I guess that’s all that matters.
