Pagan Parenting
March 14, 2008 by Avy.
Something about being pregnant is making me want to be all that I can be [as a pagan mommy]. It’s kinda funny. It’s like I want to be about to articulate my beliefs to the Smallest of Bears so (s)he can know a thing or two about nature in not just a scientific way.
I feel more motivated to celebrate the sabbats and meditate when I have alone time. Ostara is next Thursday and I’m pretty much ready for it mentally.I was originally going to try going to an open circle to get used to working with other people, but now I’m not so sure.
As a Wiccan it’s bad for me to say it, but so many of “my people” are either just plain creepy or annoying. I’m starting to think maybe it’s me >_<
Just kidding, but seriously, I give up.
So I’m trying to read something pagany everyday. So far so good. I figure if I’m reading it, I can pass the positive vibes to the SOB. This should suffice until a few weeks from now when (s)he’ll be able to hear things outside the womb. Then I can play audiobooks and meditation music. Celtic Solstice is great. It’s one of the few CDs I ever liked enough to buy.
I’m pretty sure I can ramble on and on, so I’ll just stop now.
Bye.
