Wedding Weight Whining

With 8 months til my wedding, I find myself not getting anywhere closer to my goal of losing 80 before my wedding. I’d be happy if I lost 60, to be honest. I don’t get what I’m doing wrong. I seldom allow myself Tostitos, I’ve cut back on the ice cream by a lot, and when I get into baking fits, I bring stuff to work and demand people from multiple departments eat the stuff. I just don’t get it.

To run down what I typically eat: Fruit for lunch (banana or grapes typically) and salads or wraps for lunch.

For dinner, I make pasta and those healthy portion chicken breasts w/ veggies. I do that a lot. I also make veggies, rice and potstickers(or tuna steak/shrimp/spring rolls/empenadas and other yummies from Trader Joes). Once every few weeks we’ll go out and have lots of sushi for Friday dinner.

I only go to the gym 2x a week, but plan to go on Saturday mornings as well.
What else can I do? I was trying to stay away from diet pills, but now I’m about ready to just take them. I was lookin at alli, but I don’t want my butt to explode while I’m at work if I screw up and have a cookie.

Quick Update

1. Driver’s Test Failed. I was a 1/2 inch on the line because I didn’t straighten the back wheel enough when I parallel parked. The guy had to get out of the car to check because that’s how close it was. I still want to maim him.

2. Lunch with the families was nice.  There was lots of sake and laughter.

3. I started Weight Watchers again and actually went to the gym alone when Meghan bailed. I broke her balls over it yesterday. That’s what friends are for.  I’ve decided I’m not gonna care about losing weight anymore.  What’s the point. Seriously. Fuck it.

4. I have more photo work lined up, but  still have to buy some gear which is lame. Little by little, I’ll piece the stuff together and all will be well. That’s the part that sucks. The stuff I want is not even really expensive, but such is life. On the plus side, I’ll get the money back after a few jobs.  Like the one this Friday. I’m not terribly excited, but it’s money.

5. I’m sleepy (as usual).
