Oh and it’s happened again.

I hibernate my desktop at night. In the morning, it’s on and logged in again.  It’s happened other times when I’ve simply locked it. Needless to say I changed the password, but wtf? My wi-fi uses WEP, and the router pass is obviously not admin. No other PC (lap or desktop) has EVER done this. Also needless to say, it’s got my invisible panties in a bunch. It’s annoying.

Do mind my ranting, I’ve been having a series of bad days.

That’s what I was watching at 1am. Mm hmm. Go Bettie go. I didn’t realize she was s book-smart. That gave her +10 hot points.

I recently cracked up at something I read that now I don’t find so funny. Hmm… actually, yes I do.

So I told my pseudo-bro Rob about teh matrimony. He was very eh which is more negative than nonchalant. Then an hour later, Aunt Gina calls me back and finds a way to be negative. I weigh the comments of those 2 against the countless other congratulatory remarks and all I can do is shrug my shoulders and say fuck em.  It did dawn on me that I got an address for an invite from someone who seems to have no clue why I asked for it. I’m not annoyed. Oh no. Not at all.

Am I happy about getting married? Yes, but I must admit that the appeal of a wedding is waning. It’s going to be way more work than it may be worth. I think that’s the Negative Nancy in me, but how much help is a girl really going to get. Maybe it’s the lack of faith in others. I’m the one who wants a wedding so it almost makes sense that I’d do the searching and shit, but is “one beautiful day to remember for the rest of your life” work the 10 months of stress?

I can see why people elope. You still get to be happy and married without the headache of planning. We need to choose and reserve a venue. That’s the biggest thing. The most immediate concern is venue because that’s your backbone. Video & Catering are done. Bah. I has work to do. enough ranting.
