Paul Harvey - “I’ve never seen a monument erected to a pessimist.”
What are you trying to say, Mr. Harvey? No erections for me? Well screw you.
Hi All,
I’ve been thinking. Maybe being optimistic is overrated. I’m just saying. Human error is way too much of a factor. Por ejempo: I ordered a book on Friday, 14 September 2007. It should have been in my hands last Wednesday. Shipping was supposed to be 2-day USPS airmail to my job. No. The idiot c-word sent it via UPS ground to my billing adress… aka my old apartment… so I don’t has a book. I’m not picking it up from UPS, so I have to call them and have it sent to my job. Waiting even longer. Grrrr. I should make that bitch call them, but it’d take even longer, I suspect. I don’t know if it’s a man or woman, but a bitch is a bitch. I’m vulgar. Sod off. Having that said. I’m sure optimism is for lucky people.
I’m listening to “My Fallacy” by The Nine. I don’t know how many people know/remember that song.
Oh I was on the bus and this really attractive 45ish guy got on and it got me thinking back. I don’t remember exactly when I started being attracted to men, but I have kind of an idea. I read a LOT of Greek mythology as a kid and I remember having a mental crush on Ares and Zeus. Then I got crushes on wrestlers. Kevin Nash and The Undertaker, but mostly Kevin Nash cuz Undertakers was never facially attractive to me. They’re both ginormous and obviously older. It’s never been so much the age thing though. I was never molested by a dirty old geezer with a thing for overdeveloped little girls. (I -like most people-had a perverted uncle, but that’s neither here nor there) It’s just that boys don’t have some features men have. So I always dated guys a few years older than me. I have always seen younger guys as weaker. They’re smaller and were never appealing to me because I have always been a height supremacist. I was in lust with Gods and Titans… TV wrestlers and angry guys in mosh pits were pretty close ^_^. Then I had a thing for “worky-worky” men. Tool belts still turn me on. High school boys, not so much. lol Then I started liking men in suits, but that wasn’t until a few years ago I guess.
Anyhoo. That’s what I was thinkin about earlier.
