Internet RP

(this game in particular is InternetRP)

I’ve been playin this other game called Magna somethin or other. It’s a turn-based card game somewhat like Magic the Gathering, but not as much as Monster Masher is. Actually, It’s not too similar, but I like it a lot.

Now, I’m gonna get out of here.

Thank ya Jeebus.

Happy Monday

Not.

So one thing I can 100% honestly say is that the honeymoon is over. It took exactly 1 year to not be in love with my job anymore. I genuinely like aa lot of the people I work with, but there are some that just grate my nerves. People are always in someone else’s business. Chatter, chatter, chatter. Cackle, cackle. I just want to come to work, do my job, and go home sometimes. Most times.

There was an email about using chat rooms during company time, which (to me) includes instant messaging. So I stopped doing that. I kinda like having a steady income. But what chafes me is how all these middle-aged cows and skanky young “ladies” do nothing but talk (chat) all effing day and I have to hear it. I don’t care about your kid’s adolescent rebellion or your grandkids’ saying the darndest thing. If I’m not a part of the convo, I don’t wanna hear it.

What bothers me is that it’s acceptable for all this chatter (and trust me, there’s tons of it) yet a quiet thing like instant messaging is taboo. I get more work done IM’ing than talking because you can say brb easier. Talking you’ve got people who won’t shut up, who walk over to you and rap your ear off, and then get offended when you say you’re busy.

There’s a lot of crap happening that gets on my nerves that comes with the office life territory. It’s just annoying. And I hate not being able to be the one to say, “Look… this is the way things work so this is how we’re doing it. End of story.”
